• Heartland Paper Garage Sale - For you scrapbookers out there Heartland Paper is having their garage sale today and tomorrow.  Gals like you have rented the space and are selling their scrapbook ware.  Check it out.
• Just Between Friends Layton Sale - For those who love a deal on gently used baby, maternity, or children's clothes, here it is.  Today and tomorrow at the Davis County Fairgrounds.  Provo is October 23-24 at the Spanish Fork fairgrounds.
• Last day of the Farmer's Market in Salt Lake is tomorrow, October 17th.

Do your kids like games?  Game Night Games is having their Kids Club on Saturday 10.10.

 Bring out the kids (ages 5 and up) for demos of the latest, greatest board games. Their staff will be on hand to teach kids and parents how to play some kid-friendly games. This 2 hour gaming session will give you an opportunity to spend some quality time with your kids and experience some fun test driving games you and your kids haven't yet played so you can make informed choices on which games to add to the game closet.

If you LOVE paper, you have heard of Heartland Paper.  There is one in Bountiful, and one in Taylorsville.  On October 16th and 17th, they are having a garage sale and you can participate. YOU rent the space and sell your miscellaneous scrapbook products in their garage sale area, then your sales are returned to you in the form of Heartland Paper store credit.  1/2 a table is $18 and a full table is $30.  Contact the store to sign up.

 What's for dinner tonight?   Do you just NEED some GOOD comfort food?  Why don't you try Blue Plate Diner?  Their eclectic, turn of the century atmosphere plus generous portions of comfort food, at this family run restaurant will please everyone.

They have specials every night of the week, but get there early on Saturday's and Sunday's for breakfast (which is served all day if you sleep in).  They were featured on Food Networks, 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives' (Episode 402-Diners You Sent Me) for their corned beef.
